The installation of MDS systems is limited to BUS type wiring. A hose of cables runs through the vertical installation in the building, connecting the exterior street panel with the homes and also interconnecting the different blocks in the case of an urbanization.

* Ref. 5918 AUDIO + DATA BUS:
- 4-wire 1 mm2 hose + shielded twisted pair (2 x 0.5 mm2).
- For interconnection between central decoder-boards.
- Supplied in 100 meter coils.

Fermax supplies a series of HOSES specially designed for MDS installations. Fermax hoses Ref. 5918 and Ref. 5919 are valid for distances of up to 300 meters. We have several types of BUS in the installation:

* Ref. 5918 AUDIO + DATA BUS:
- 4-wire 1 mm2 hose + shielded twisted pair (2 x 0.5 mm2).
- For interconnection between central decoder-boards.
- Supplied in 100 meter coils.

* Ref. 5919 VIDEO BUS:
- 1 mm2 3-wire hose + coaxial
- For connection between video camera and video distributors.
- Supplied in 100 meter coils.

* Ref. 59200 MONITOR CONNECTION BUS
- hose 3 wires of 1 mm2 + 8 wires of 0.5 mm2 + coaxial.
- For interconnection in the plant between decoder+distributor and home monitor.
- Supplied in 100 meter coils.

* Ref. 5922 TELEPHONE CONNECTION BUS:
- 6-wire hose of 0.5 mm2
- For interconnection on the floor between decoder and home telephone.
- Supplied in 50 meter coils.
